MQA Audit and Full Accreditation

With the Name of Allah The Most Gracious and Most Merciful.

On Feb 19, 2019 our program is finally audited after so many hours, weeks and years in preparing the documentation and implementation of the Diplomas according to the structure and guidelines by MQA.

Our programs are finally accredited after corrections and amendments. We are very thankful for the constructive reviews and comments to make our programs more solid and sound. The review definitely helping us to understand more, for better governance and better implementation of the program as we want the best for our students.

MQA accreditation is vital as This make the process of the graduates to apply for the Bachelor programs and to join the working forces in public sector is so much easier.

Our Rector, Prof Dr Abdul Ghafar Ismail is so generous to treat a lunch to celebrate the full accreditation at Zaytuna Restaurant.

We are very thankful to students and staff who assisted us the in the auditing process. They had to go for interview session with MQA panel. We also want to say our gratitude for our Rector the delicious and scrumptious lunch with Middle Eastern menu.

Thank you to all.

From School of Muamalat and Management, we are very grateful and delighted on receiving the delegates from International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF).

Before the knowledge sharing session starts, the delegates visited  Maktabah

After that, the knowledge sharing session started and held at Lecture Hall 1, KPIJ MARSAH. Ms Atirah and Ms Nadia Aisyah were the MC for that day.

The dua recitation is recited by Mr Khairul Aqmal

After that, the Rector of KPIJ MARSAH, Prof Dr Abdul Ghafar Ismail gave his welcoming remarks to INCEIF delegates.

The knowledge sharing is given by Assoc.Prof Dr Baharom on how Islamic Finance can save the world planet and save the environment.

Basically, Islamic Finance is able to achieve SDG in saving the planet. Islamic financing is very strict and transparent in providing financing and involving in environmental program. There is no loan, but financing, because the aim and objective of Islamic Finance is to help the under-served and underprivileged.

These are among the waqf books by INCEIF to KPIJ MARSAH

We are very thankful and very grateful for the knowledge sharing and book waqf. We hope it can benefit the knowledge culture among the KPIJ MARSAH staff and students in learning Islamic economy and finance. All are free to borrow the book from School of Muamalat and Management.

Industrial Training

As part of the course structure and graduation requirement, the students of Diploma in Islamic Banking and Diploma in Islamic Finance are required to undergo industrial training in semester 6.

The students are given freedom to choose their own internship place, companies, or organisation as long as their placement is related with the Diploma. They also must prepare resume and CV and provide letter of application to do internship to the potential place.

The industrial training consists of several components to make up their grade;
1) Grade and marks from industry - their internship place give half of the grade
2) Grade from supervisor (lecturer) upon visiting the students and meeting with their internship supervisor
3) Presentation
4) Log book
5) Final Report

Alhamdulillah we received a lot of great feedbacks from the industry on the potential and attitude of the students and they welcome more students to undergo internship with them.

The students got placement in various kind of industries - ranging from government organizations such as MAIJ, Baitulmal, Zakat, agricultural organizations,  NGOs, private companies with diverse nature of industries such as engineering company, welfare, early childhood, and many more. Since they are related with Banking and Finance, their placement and job scope must be related.

The students then will be evaluated in terms of their attitude, punctuality, work culture, team works, relevancy with diploma, soft skills like communication and other value and virtues as in rubrics developed by Industrial Training unit.

We also received feedbacks from the students upon their industrial training, mentioning that industrial training open their eyes and broaden their perspective on the real world of working environment. They also get connected to each other to know their peers's experience which might be completely different from theirs. This is good as it widen their horizon and skills, and to prepare them to the new life when they graduated.

These are among the photos we captured on the industrial training, the lecturer, the supervisor and the students. We are very thankful for the companies and organizations for the opportunity given to our students to undergo the internship.

For the students, may this become one of the sweet memories and insightful experience that you have once in your life.
