CTP Final Assessment

If you remember, last year in April we undergone a 5-day certification program called Certified Training Professional (CTP) under Financial Accreditation Agency (FAA)(link click here). We also had to sit for final writing examination, and 8-minute individual session too. 

Before we are certified, we have to undergo another final assessment to be certified. The final assessment consist of submitting our lesson plan which will be reviewed by FAA, and after the lesson plan is approved, we have to conduct the 4-hour individual session. The session must be on subject matter of the trainer. 

On September 2018, we had to undergo the final assessment, and all of us prepared our session accordingly. Assoc Prof Dr Zainuddin a representative of FAA come again to MARSAH to review and evaluate our session. This make the session easier as AP Dr Zainuddin knew us when he facilitate the 5-day CTP program before. 

The final assessment is held for two days and we have our students as our audience. Our lesson plan is made according to FAA standards and our facilitation also must be student-centered and fun learning.

IPTIM 2018

MARSAH received an honor to become a host for IPTIM 2018. IPTIM 2018 is Islamic Carnival and this time our college hosting for ASEAN level, as we receive participation from neighboring countries. The theme for IPTIM 2018 is Mahasiswa Islam Mendepani Revolusi Industri 4.0". Click link for official website of IPTIM.

Department of Muamalat is allocated to arrange for Berzanji (L&P), Azan, Iqamah & Tahrim (L), Nasyid (L), and Nasyid (P). Our team consist mostly from students of DOM Semester 4. 

At 12 Nov the draws for participant queue was held at Main Hall of MARSAH.

Annual Grand Dinner by Kelab Jabatan Muamalat

Oct 4, Kelab Jabatan Muamalat has organized an annual grand dinner for all the lecturers and students of Department of Muamalat KPIJ MARSAH at V8 Hotel. 

The ceremony was started with the arrivals of academician, the recitation of du'a and speech from Head, Department of Muamalat Ustaz Mohd Hafiz Mohd Dasar. It was then followed by the award presentation to the students who achieved the dean list and excel in their academics. Lucky draws was a hit too as many students receive cute goodies from the organizer. The prince and princess of the night was announced after that, attained from the results of the voting. 

We hope this dinner leave the best memories in their life as a student. The food was scrumptious, the event was beautiful and everyone is dressed to the nine to achieve the theme "Black and Roses". 

We congratulate to Kelab Jabatan Muamalat for organizing such beautiful event.

From MARSAH to UMK

We are very proud of our first graduates from Department of Muamalat whom just admitted as new students of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) to pursue their studies in bachelor degree.

UMK is one of the strategic partners of KPI MARSAH which offering diversity of programmers to acommodate its graduates int the job market. Our Registrar Ustaz Sanusi, Head of Department DOM Ustaz Hafiz and En Khairy had go long way from the very south of Johor to the state of Cik Siti Wan Kembang to collaborate with Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship UMK to provide fast lane to graduates of DOM KPIJ MARSAH  to pursue their study here.

The faculty welcome our graduates as their students as the program offered in DOM KPIJ MARSAH has proves its quality and standards accordingly. From Department of Muamalat, we wish three of you congratulations and good luck in your new journey.

SQL Accounting & Payroll Training

July 29-30, 2018 -- SQL Accounting and Payroll Training.

The training is aim to expose to the sudents, staff and academicians of accounting and payroll software. SQL has been used by more than 180,000 companies and it become of one of the demand and requirement from private sector employers.

The training is organozed by Estream, Department of Muamalat, and the Centre of Islamic Thoughts and Professionalism (PTP), Kolej Pengajian Islam Johor (MARSAH). 

The training was participated by administration staff, finance division, academicians of DOM and students from Semester 5 and Semester 3.

End of Day 1

The second day is continued with the hands-on of SQL and we are given exercise and assignment to be completed. The trainers were so helpful of guiding us on the rising matters and we found some talents from our students.

End of 2nd day

Alhamdulillah we successfully underwent the training. We also received positive reviews from the program. In order to be certified in SQL, we were given a test to be completed and we submitted the assignment a week later. 

We congratulate to all the staff and students of Department of Muamala for successfully participate and undergone the training. This is one of the effort from the Department (i.e. Ms Khairun Nisaq Taslim) to add value for your portfolio. We aware that today's world is challenging and changing fast and we must emulate to be the best of our field of interest. We wish you all the best.
