INDUSTRIAL TRAINING

The first batch of our students in the Department of Muamalat has underwent the industrial training tremendously. They were attached with various institutions and organisations that are suitable with their program. Industrial training is vital in exposing the students to the real-world situation besides from their learning in classes. This also prepare them to be ready to the workforce and other pathways. Currently they need to present to their respective supervisors what they learned in their training. We wish all of our students best of luck. 

SEMINAR KE ARAH 'GLOBAL HALAL MARKET'

On Nov 16, 2017 -- we were invited by Institute of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah (ASWAJA) Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) to attend "Seminar Ke Arah Global Halal Market". The seminar dicscussing the global and domestic Halal market and technology management in Halal product. There were two Halal manufacturers who also sharing their experience in penetrating Halal market in poultry and cosmetic industry. The last slot discussing the role of Jabatan Agama Islam Negeri Johor in Halal certification process in Malaysia.

MOU MARSAH-IPB

On Jan 15, 2018 Kolej Pengajian Islam Johor (MARSAH) welcoming the visit from Institut Profesional Baitulmal (IPB) Kuala Lumpur on the strategic partnership in the field of accounting. It was started with discussion between the management of both institutions on LCCI program and future porgram collaboration. The representative from IPB has introduced to the students of Department of Muamalat on LCCI and its pathway and prospect. MOU has been signed between MARSAH-IPB in collaboration engagement. We hope our students benefited from the event.

COURTESY VISIT TO PEJABAT MUFTI

On Oct 4, 2017; Department of Muamalat represented by our Head of Department and research team of Kolej Pengajian Islam Johor (MARSAH) has visited Pejabat Mufti Negeri Johor to discuss the research opportunity in Muamalat issues. It was a fruitful discussion and we hope we able to explore more on the Muamalat issues particularly in Johor state for the benefit of Ummah InShaaAllah. 

SEMINAR ANTARABANGSA KEWANGAN ISLAM

On Oct 20-21, 2017; Kolej Pengajian Islam Johor (MARSAH) had the honor of collaborating with Universiti Islam Riau Indonesia in Seminar Antrabangsa Kewangan Islam. We hope this strategic partnership contribute to the Ummah in promoting Islamic finance to the world. 

14th KLIFF 2017

Department of Muamalat (DOM) Kolej Pengajian Islam Johor (MARSAH) had sent the delegates of three to the 14th Kuala Lumpur Islamic Finance Forum 2017 (KLIFF 2017) on October 3,4,5 , 2017. 

The forum was held at Hotel Istana Kuala lumpur, which was organized by CERT. The opening ceremony was officiated by HRH Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfurlah. There are vast topics discussed in the forum by prominent scholars in the field of Islamic banking and finance. The last day was Muzakarah in which the issues of Islamic finance in lights of Shariah being discussed. 

ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION "OBOR" CHINA-MALAYSIA STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

On August 21, 2017; Department of Muamalat (DOM) Kolej Pengajian Islam Johor (MARSAH) has been invited to Roundtable Discussion  "One Belt One Road (OBOR)" China-Malaysia Strategic Partnership. It is organized by Institute of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah (ASWAJA) Universiti Tun Hussein Onn (UTHM). The first round is the presentation by Prof Dr Wang Yongbao (Ahmed Musa) from Xi'an University on the idea of OBOR. Second round is the roundtable discussion among institutions to come out with research ideas on bringing idea of OBOR into reality. Department of Muamalat had been assigned in the field of Islamic Banking.
