PROGRAM SISWAPRENEUR MEGASALE - BULAN KEUSAHAWANAN PMJB

On Oct 9, 2017 - Department of Muamalat has been invited to attend the entrepreneurship carnival "Program Siswapreneur Megasale Sempena Bulan Keusahawanan" Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi. The program was organized by Politeknik METro Johor Bahru (PMJB).


We were inspired by the cooperation among students and staff in making the program a success in which they gain crowd and attention from the public. Kudos to PMJB!

WORKSHOP ON ARTICLE AND JOURNAL WRITING

On Sept 16, 2017, Pusat Tafaqquh and Profesionalisme has organized a Workshop on Article and Journal Writing. The wokrshop aims to introduce the methodology on article and journal writing among lecturers of Kolej Pengajian Islam Johor (MARSAH). We were very delighted to receive beneficial inputs from the speaker, Ustaz Shahrizzal from Faculty of Language, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UNISZA) on the aspects of journal writing with some experience sharing from him on journal publishing. The wokrshop held at DK1, Koleh Pengajian Islam Johor (MARSAH) and we hope all of us are well-equipped with the writing technique to produce high quality article. 

ISLAMIC EDUCATION IN KPIJ MARSAH

We are proud to prepare the future human capital in Johor, particularly in Islamic education. In KPIJ Marsah, our curriculums are designed to empower students with Islamic knowledge. In Department of Muamalat, students are equipped with advanced knowledge of Islamic finance and banking to catch up with fast-paced industry. Let us strive for excellency!

EKSPO JOHOR BERKEMAJUAN

Last October, we were officially invited to join the crowd at Ekspo Johor Berkemajuan at Iskandar Puteri. There are numerous government and non-government exhibitionist and traders from all over Johor. The expo was exceptionally huge and informative yet entertaining. It's like every layer of society were excited with this event. There were also some grandeur exhibition on student projects and yield of entrepreneurship program, together with gigantic replica from other exhibitions.

We are proud to be part of the expo where KPIJ Marsah also had a booth there. We also pleased to see our students were part of the volunteers in the expo.

2nd FIELD TRIP TO KUALA LUMPUR 2017

Department of Muamalat (DOM) Kolej Pengajian Islam Johor (MARSAH) had organized the 2nd Field Trip to Kuala Lumpur on 13 March 2017 to 14 March 2017. This visit aims to expose to the students of Department of Muamalat to working environment in the industry.

The field trip was participated by  2 lecturers and 58 students.

2-day excursion visiting the places as follows

1. Museum Art, Sasana Kijang, Bank Negara Malaysia
2. International Shariah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA)
3. Hong Leong Islamic Bank
4. Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad

We hope the students get some insights on the industry and its professional environment in the Islamic banking and finance industry.

Seminar on Zakat, Waqf & Sadaqah 2017

On April 19, 2017, Department of Muamalat - Kolej Pengajian Islam Johor (MARSAH) has collaborated with IRCIEF Kolej Universiti Islam Selangor (KUIS), Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB), International Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies Malaysia (IAIS) on organizing the Seminar on Zakat, Waqf and Sadaqah 2017. The seminar was held at The Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The event has gathered more than 100 participants from academicians, practitioners and government officials and launched by Y.B. Senator Dato' Dr Asyraf Wajdi bin Dato' Dusuki, Deputy Minister in Prime Minister Department (religious affairs).

BENGKEL SADAQAH HOUSE 2016

Sukacita dimaklumkan bahawa Kolej Pengajian Islam Johor (MARSAH) akan mengadakan Bengkel Sadaqah House 2016 yang akan diadakan seperti butiran berikut:-

Tempat  : Hotel Suria City, Johor Bahru, Johor Darul Takzim 

Idea untuk mewujudkan Sadaqah House telah dicadangkan oleh Dato Dr. Abdul Halim Ismail, pemenang Anugerah Diraja Kewangan Islam 2014 melalui ucapan beliau di dalam Forum Kewangan Islam Global 2014. Sadaqah House merupakan sebuah institusi pengurusan dana sedekah. Sehingga hari ini, penginstitusian sedekah masih belum dibangunkan secara formal sedangkan sedekah merupakan satu konsep yang sangat digalakkan untuk diamalkan oleh Islam. 

Oleh itu, Bengkel Sadaqah House 2016 ini diadakan bagi mengetahui pandangan para sarjana akademik dan pakar pengamal industri kewangan berkenaan konsep, model, sandaran fiqah (al-takyif al-fiqhῑ) dan aspek keuntungan daripada dana Sadaqah House.
